When I last bought a road bike discs were not a thing.
I've always had discs on MTBs and always run dinner plates (I had 200mm on QR at some point and didn't die)
Eyeing up a new bike and 160 seems to be standard across the board.
Is it possible to add a spacer and run 180s? (at least up front)
Or is it unnecessary?
If you are breaking at the same rates 160 and a 180mm disc will be doing the same work? So the only difference is the different leverage caused by the extra 10mm radius?
Disc brakes on a road bike - is 160mm enough?
