That can't be right can it? Southampton's wage bill can be 6x Ipswich's, as implied by that data and current points totals.

It could be, they have a big squad of players some of whom were signed during their previous spell in the PL.
Some of ours are probably on avoiding-relegation bonuses and a sizeable chunk of them were signed in League One.

It will be based on last available data so 2023 season which is PL Southampton compared to League 1 Ipswich. £120m vs £20m
