What's the easiest way to amend a STL file that I've found on Thingiverse - know nothing about 3d printing or CAD modelling and just want to make a few minor adjustments to a thing I've got someone else to help me print..

What sort of adjustments? If it's really basic (re-scaling for example), it could be done in the slicer software

Probably a bit more involved; it's a coffee thing (portafilter holder) that I need to move a bit of it forward to get it to fit the particular filter I have. Was hoping there's a way around this that's easier than learn Blender from scratch..
