  • What does cruising to an easy election win on a small target strategy, against an unprecedentedly terrible incumbent mind you, have to say about whether Starmer is an Establishment man?

Once in a generation chance to kick the shit out of the Overton window, and he's playing as if his opposition is credible.

  • Braverman describing how Italy has built a wall on it's land border with Turkey to keep out migrants, and insisting she has seen it with her own eyes, is a great way to start the New Year.

  • thick as mince

  • Well, Andy, I'm afraid the Ostrogothic Kingdom and the Byzantine Empire do share a land border, and since it's quite hard to keep that pesky Belisarius bloke out of the West, a wall is eminently called for.

Her desperation to try and stay in the news is so sad, the sooner she defects to reform the better. I'm almost sad she isn't my mp any more.
