This 'sounds' immense. 😎
Are you going to base it on 'thrust' or something of your own design?
You could use a servo as a makeshift brake operator or a chute release? LoL
😁

A typical landspeed geometry chassis would be great, but I will need to use what I can buy as I don't have access to a 3D printer.
Chute release FTW!

Yes mate.

Looks like sheet aluminium cut out for the chassis.

Orrr.
Like the real deal, you could have a 'normal' chassis with motor (geared up) to take you up to speed and then engage the EDF which should in theory just assist the main motor? Allowing natural breaking once disengaged?

Tldr , looks spenny, would be interested to know the weight saving on stock...
Not sure much of an improvement tbh.

‘Performance’ isn’t the right metric for a Lunchox. Looks to be a bit of fun.

Maybe it's stack durability...

Hope no one here has a Traxxas car with asbestos in the brake pads...

Over 20 years worth of products being recalled. Yikes.
What are the black sticky-up sprongs on some of these machines?
