I didn't check but it didn't say for display only and had a price under it

That is something they have changed I believe, they no longer have the "for exhibition only" signs, even though there's very little you'd be able to walk in and buy. Presumably they decided it looked bad, or maybe with demand falling they felt it was discouraging too many people from coming in.
