Wordy updates with poorly taken photos to kick off 2025.
The Arkose made an excellent winter road bike but i wasn't using it. In fact all i was using it for was 15 minute local rides so i updated it to suit. Back to flat bars but this time with Shimano hydros, 11 speed courtesy of an Ultegra flat bar shifter found in Japan, chubbier tyres and flat pedals with spikey bits sticking out. It's a hoot to ride but may see some changes soon.
