Proper leather shoes

I've been talking to them about grabbing a pair of their engineer boots but have hesitated because it's so difficult to know what the quality is like. Will check those reviews out, thanks!

I really wish companies like this were more up front about country of origin. I couldn’t find anything that stated where they were made, which for a lot of boot people is important. Whereas Grant Stone embraces the fact that their shoes are expertly made in China, these guys seem to be hiding it? The only way I found out that they’re - I assume - made in China - is by doing a domain lookup and finding that they’re based in China.

This is not a dig - some of those boots look great - but just embrace being Chinese instead of hiding it ya know?
