  • Ha ha, that’s a good effort by your man assuming he sits there for 10 hours going through the bottle.

  • Jesus Christ, they've done a second series of "The Rig".

  • When you comsider how many Mrs Browns Boys they've done, there really can't be a low bar for additional series.

  • What on Earth???!

  • On that subject, can't beat the Irish Times for a murderous review

Unkillable comedy’s wit is as sharp as a mouthful of Brussels sprouts

  • It's being streamed on Jan 2. We can only hope that some bizarre alien lifeform kills everybdoy involved first.

  • So why so many series of this shite oh and a movie.

Also do we complain about a man in drag?

  • On a more positive note, Wallace and Gromit was grand

  • That was fantastic

  • Agreed.

Late to the Black Doves party, but very enjoyable.

Have also been digging Terminator Zero on Netflix. Anime set in 1997 exploring a competitor to Skynet.

  • New Cunk special was brilliant

For those who love a binge, Apple TV+ is free this weekend. No excuse not to watch Severance I guess

  • Finished Black Doves today, a festive Slow Horses with a ridiculous Ms Marple plot and a great cast. Very watchable.

  • I love Cunk. But this one felt a bit forced.

  • There is also an excellent series on there called 'Disclaimer'. Well worth a watch if you can.

  • I'm happy with Disclaimer too, although the reviews have been poor. Main issues seem to be about the stilted characters and delivery of lines, but surely that's intentional. Sasha Baron Cohen's husband character is great. Ditto for the meditational style narration.

  • but surely that's intentional.

That's what I thought, everything felt very 'on purpose' if that makes sense.

  • P.s what's the deal with Traitors? Everyones been positive about it in the past, but watching it tonight away with work, it's absolute garbage. The effort to orchestrate the conversations in front of the camera, and leading us to think they could possinly carry half a tonne of gunpowder is a few buckets is ridiculous.

There is more drama in Coach Trip.

  • what's the deal with Traitors

I think you've got the gist of it

I watched the first season - found it useful turbo fodder if indoor training, but every conversation is replayed half a dozen times with pauses to cut away to each person involved. Found myself watching about 15mins of an hour episode and fast forwarding the bits in between. Entertaining dross
