Carbon Endurance Bike, 56

  • Looking for a lightweight, preferably carbon endurance bike, something in the realm of <£750.

  • Not endurance per say but super light, super fun, room for bigger tyres and super cheap.

The following is taken from the Cannondale Aficionados / Owners thread.

Any interest here for a Super X Hi-Mod in a 56 for... ONLY £250 for everything in the picture plus all canti hanger bits and a set of Tektro 720 Cantis. Can also come with a Shimano 105 5700, 10 speed groupset for £300 if preferable?

This was my very light, very stiff, very fun commuter until some lovely person relieved me of my handlebars and brifters whilst locked up outside one day.

Live south east, work tower bridge. Cash on collection preferred. Can deliver / meet up within reason.

  • Oh nice! Thanks for linking. Not clued up on this bike, what material is the frame?

  • Cannondale carbon hi-mod it was the top of the range cross bike back in 2010.

This is a cross bike made for racing it is not an endurance bike but it is supper light and very cheap for the quality. It can take either canti or v brakes and has room for large volume tyres.

  • Oh nice, reckon I might need something a bit more comfy for some lengthy days in the saddle
