Sorry Soul.

Some reality, finally. Maybe now we can get on with securing a top four spot instead of worrying about all this title nonsense. Straight 'race' between the Kopites and Arselol.

• #172534
Nah. One horse race with Liverpool to win it by at least ten points.

Looks that way, I'm just teasing the Goobers. Would be ace to finish above them as well. 😋

Pickford again proving himself far and away England’s number one yesterday. And while we’re on the subject of keepers, Newcastle have kept three clean sheets and had three wins since dubravka came in for Pope. Previously four clean sheets in 15 games.

Latest shit feature of the Premier League is players pretending they're greviously injured and staying down so that VAR will hopefully award them a foul because someone breathed on them heavily.
New rule: if you stay down for more than 20 seconds you have to leave the pitch for the equivalent amount of time.

Guessing you're referencing the Chelsea player? If you stay down, roll around, bang on the turf, throw your toys out the pram, have a hissy fit, knowing there's at least 3 tv cameras on you, you should walk off the pitch, tell your boss you're sorry for any embarrassment caused, and hand in your notice.

I stopped watching football a few years ago, motd happened to be on when I was looking for summat to watch last night, so thought I'd have a look see, now I remember why I stopped watching.
And the Villa red card was a joke, if they're going to use var, fucking use it. -

And the appeal has been rejected. I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with Taylor being announced on the Fifa refs list today.
Complete joke of a decision, failure of var and ridiculous lack of consistency in decision making. -

He was the latest one. It's usually strikers staying down in the penalty area even though it's blatantly obvious no one touched them.
Not entirely sure why they introduced VAR so you could see when players were diving but then also gave up booking players who dived.

See also defenders suffering life threatening head injuries whenever there's a corner.

Last night Jack Clarke skinned Martin Odegaard, who went down with a life-threatening facial injury so severe that the referee stopped play a few seconds later while we were attacking. Luckily, he recovered very quickly and was back on his feet by the time we took the drop ball with all their players back defending.

If you claim a head/face injury, it should be a mandatory 5 mins before you can come back on. For player safety of course.

But only away team players, amiright?
