Heh, Squale's minimum custom order quantity is (or was) quite low, I remember doing these concepts for LFGSS editions.

List? Hell yes.

When I bought this watch, I foolishly said to my wife "this is the last watch I will ever buy"
What a naive idiot I was back then.

Wasn’t fussed about the green when I bought it but has grown on me massively

Always liked the 3rd one.
Can you do custom dials or is it just the back?
-
• #80334
You can definitely do dials, that's relatively easy, especially if the only difference is the printing. I'm not sure what the implication of changing the lume to light blue would be, or the bezel insert / lume pip colour. I never contacted Squale as I didn't think we'd get anywhere near enough people in for it.
There are a few small Squale collabs out there, for example the Urban Gentry youtube bloke has done several.
Re: the Sub39 GMT, I also probably liked that one the most until I realised that it's not 39mm, it's nearer 41, it's also quite long and the lug width is 22mm.

I have a decent collection of watches now. Nothing particularly special, a few nice Casios, Seikos and a Uniform Wares. I would like to keep them in some kind of display case or box.
Any suggestions? Something that will fit about 6-10 watches.

They are all nice watches, the case shape is great, colours are fun. Maybe a bit too much money for some people compared to steel watches especially mechanicals. I've been wearing the Black Snoopy Moonphase quite a lot.

Not sure if you’ve seen the couple of boxes I’ve made?

Cheers.
It's lake Como and of course Como itself. You can just barely identify the Cathedral by its green cupola

Indeed. Would be nice if companies would allow you to have your own design uploaded.
Engraving/printing/applying a word, on the dial, would suffice -

I’d be up for a commemorative watch if there’s a group buy on the cards.
Full ‘dominos pizza’ soldered-on arrospok ideally

Given the forum’s unfortunate doom, we could all have LFGSS applied to it

New watch day (of sorts) today .. bought a ‘birth year’ Bapex for my stepson who’s about to turn 18.. he’s a bit of a hypebeast so I figured this might at least be on his radar (and I’m definitely not flush enough for a ‘proper’ brand).. it’s the size of a dinner plate of course and not to my taste but seems well-built and in almost perfect condition… it’s automatic which I wasn’t expecting so I now need to see how it keeps time. Original box and Japanese papers including year of purchase and spare links etc.

Very nice. Are you a carpenter or is this a hobby?
I considered making my own, but don’t trust my competence.

Oh hai 👋🏻

No I’m an architectural technician and this is just for fun.
I’m happy to make one for you or advise/ supply materials if you want to make your own.

Killing time in one of those airports where I can check out all of the watches I normally only see in pictures. My general impression is that almost all of them are too big and way too shiny.
The exception being Oris which are lovely in the flesh. The 38mm ones are particularly nice. -

Chap bought a 36mm Rolex datejust in the Rolex AD in T2 when I was browsing the other day- just walked in and asked if they had it and they did. No steel sports watches though.

Which shop has Oris on display?
It does make the watch look better. Kind of makes me want to design a new dial for it.
