Just bought this beauty for ~125€. Been ages since I've ridden a single speed.

This frame is good enough for a MGOOF?

Yeah I guess - for now it will get a nexus IGH / dynamo wheelset and strapon fenders for winter.

My lock-up klunker. Single-speed, coaster brake. A cheap 26" mtb frame where someone brazed in some crude horizontal dropouts. I paid more for the cockpit than for the whole rest of the bike.

Had so much fun on a poo brown Langster in London 10 years ago so couldn’t help myself when I saw an identical one come up for cheap in Aus.
I ignored all logic and advice to just get it Bead Blasted at a panelbeaters so spent 5 hours stripping paint.
Spent under £80 on everythingParts bin beater with bars that probably weigh more than the frame.
Super fun geo. Will probably get a front brake because I’m old now.

Nice. I'd fatten up the tires a bit if there's clearance, just because that's how I feel these days.

For sure, 25s on aluminium is harsh.
If anyone knows how fat I can go on a 2007 Langster lmk. Google says 28
