Let’s make a short film

We could tell the story of the shutdown and bash the gov a bit
We could do bits on what it means to us
We could use old videos of the old days
We could do some skids and tricks
We could end with the big ride out for the last day and find hope in the sadness

There’s enough of us in the biz here I’m sure

I offer to cut it and I could shoot some of it too

If it all goes brilliantly well we’ll win a load of awards and sell it to storyville and get enough cash to resurrect the forum

Was already thinking about this. Im a DOP and happy to shoot it, or parts of it as a collab, as it’s a big story. Been part of the forum since 2008 and met some amazing people because of it.

The movie is never as good as the book tho.

I have no relevant skills to offer but I'd really love for this to happen. I've always thought LFGSS deserves a documentary (mockumentary?). There are so many great stories and characters buried in these threads.
