callling internet bike fitters
Am Bolt curious and a Small 2.0 has come up not at collector prices but how do these fit?
Google is shit now and can't find much old chat.Ride a 2013 Medium vigo with -17 120mm stem.
Are they different beasts or prolly Medium in both... 177cm tall if that helps at all.https://bikeinsights.com/compare?geometries=5c5870675ba66300179f6397,648c9b61eff793001bf99e30,

I would 100% go for M if I was you. I'm 174cm and my histogram in M looks like this

You've told me what I needed to hear, thanks! p.s. looks great
To anyone after a Small Bolt 2.0, ebay, collection only - quickish london train north, badly setup by the owner but easy to fix and looks hardly ridden. Relisted after no bids @ £500.

After 4 years of use being the sole owner of my Vigorelli steel, the light weight seat clamp that came from factory in the box finally failed. It happened without any creaking sounds to indicate anything out of the norm. Maybe the cold weather of late combined with a preference of riding more seated in the wet. I guess Thomson would be the forever replacement... Or are there any other recommendations? I am favoring strength over weight savings.
In defense of the stock clamp, it had a scuff from a standing fall a few years back.

Thomson would be superior because it features a barrel nut on the thread side which can rotate so that force is applied to the threads equally as the clamp closes.
Are you sure you didn't over-tighten the clamp? -

I used my torque tool before heading out and heard the pop midway through the ride. Im liking the polished silver finish on Thomson

I've got a gen1 bolt, the og grey one kicking about, frame size 56
-
• #5138
What size would that make it?

It would be the size L from the 2009-10 catalogue, it says 55, but it sizes more like a 56, i've had multiple sizes (52 and 54) and none of them are really the right size, i would be super happy with a size in between M-L but that doesn't exist and I prefer the L than the M which was too short for me. (I'm about 1m77)

I realise I am back in the queue for this, but out of interest for future procurements; how much would a frame and fork go for in this condition?
-
• #5141
It depends i've seen a bunch of different prices for dinged and dented frame, even Miclo has been selling a couple for 600-700gbp.
Last year I was asking 500euros with shipping, but it never sold, so I just thought i'd leave it in storage until someone serious really wants it ! -

£600 or so?

Don't seem to sell for as much these days, except the ones within Japan (but everything listed from there is way spenny), plenty of mad asking prices on eBay but they sit there for years.

Seems like this will go pretty quick but appreciate the replies and will keep that in mind.
Cheers! -

Thanks for checking, I wasn't front of the que bit will bow out.
Looking for a Medium (tho we are the same height) and very specifically the 2012 silver.. https://www.mashsf.com/uncategorized/2012-cinelli-mash-bolt
Anyone got a 2012 Bolt Medium stashed under the bed?

I agree, the japanese never got them so i've had a few offers on my green one over the years (see below). Its a shame because the first couple of Mash are my favourites, the grey, the green, and the histogram black and blue.
This green one is my first real fixed gear and i've had it almost 10 years ! Still playing with seat post and stem as i'm never happy with the ones i find.

Goes completely against strength over weight savings but I've been rocking this for over 4 years now and it's been great so far. Even gives bonus points for carbon

Sadly the seatpost collar is a bit of an oddball size at 33.5 so my options are limited... I've since reached out to Cinelli-Milano online to confirm the replacement... I'm also flirting with the idea of replacing the seatpost configuration to a fastback design. I will definitely follow up the idea with a local builder to see what options are available with time and cost. I truly love the way the frame rides and being a pre engagement gift from my wife makes it deserving of this customization... I appreciate your input
