• As much as I love this bike I’ve barely ridden it since doing it up and times are tough. Great sunny day towpath trundler. Largely original, I bought it from its first owner a few years back, always dry stored from the looks of it.

I’m 5’10” and it fits me like a glove as pictured.

-18” lugged frame Tange OX Comp II tubing - aside from a few scuffs in the usually places the paint is pretty ace. The lugwork, especially on the seat cluster and forks is stunningly cool. TT 56ctc ST 56ctt
-Matrix stem, Tioga risers, new odi grips
-Deore LX group, DX shifters, SLR brake levers
    -Sakae seatpost, Sella Anatomic saddle
-Matrix Singletrack Comp rims, front hub was replaced with a modern shimano last year laced onto the original rim
    -NOS Blackburn Mtn rack
    -DMR V8 pedals, restrap straps
    -NOS Elite Macan bottle cages
    -Maxxis DTH 2.3” tyres

It’s not your average retro mtb, surprisingly light with a nimble front end, wheelies like a charm if that’s your vibe.
Heales Cycles in Higham Hill gave it a full once over last year when they rebuilt the front wheel.
The only minor point is the front shifter needs attention as not indexing and drops the chain sometimes, I think it’s just how the new cable has bedded in, or possibly Heales didn’t quite get it right when they had it. Probably an easy fix as was fine prior to new cables.

Bike is in E17, would rather not post but can deliver by car at cost anywhere north/east of London within reason or collected from nr Harlow during work hours.

Any questions feel free to ask and if I’m out with pricing please let me know.

  • Hard to tell because of the gloomy weather but it’s actually a very very dark metallic green, not black.

  • Dropped the price, given that the front shifter needs a tickle.
    I think it’s a fair price as it’s still a beauty imo.

  • Cracking bike, GLWS

  • Love these bikes, good price. Rode mine half way through the Pyrenees and would totally do it again. Glws
