By far the cheapest I've seen these anywhere

On that same site, looks to be 27.5 Rockshox Recon for £95.00. Maybe I'm missing something?!

Any wild bargains on GRX (or 105 I suppose) shifters out there at the moment? 11 speed at the back and a double at the front.

Merlin seems to be the place these days (rip wiggle), not sure if you wanted calipers.. probably a sensible but not wild bargain, less than people are asking for used on eBay anyway..

Anyone spotted any bargains for big volume road / light gravel tyres, 38-45 sort of widths?
-
• #8182
Define bargain and light gravel, this place still has half price teravails, there are washburn in 700*38, no ramparts (in 700) and plenty of cannonball across that size range..

Thanks. Not heard of them before, you’d recommend them though?

The website or the tyre brand?

• #8185
The latter, but since we’re here maybe the site too!

Thanks! Looks like I'll continue to keep an eye on the secondhand market.

Terravail Ramparts are my favourite road tyres (and have done some light, summery gravel on them as well). Fast, grippy and smooth. I've yet to have a puncture with them as well after at least a year of using them most days. I've not tried any other Terravails but they seem to be well reviewed.

Ramparts do look good. Shame they’re sold out on that site. Might take a punt on the washburns

There's some good tyre deals at banana industries

Wore out some Rutlands, they were a good one for road/gravel. Wore out some Ramparts, they were neither love or hate.
Can't speak for the rest - depends how much tread you need (if any) as to whether they are bargains or not. I'd be tempted by washburns but there are probably more bargains about for other brands..

I’m about 4000km into these and I really rate them

Spa cycles were selling them pretty cheap a while ago, might be worth a look

Do you really find them grippy? I've come from racier tyres (gp5000) but find the ramparts are slippery if it's not completely dry
-
• #8194
Oh really? I've not had any problems! Which version are you using out of interest? Mine are the light and supple flavour.
-
• #8195
That’s what I have, they are much grippier that wtb horizons. I’m not sure that is saying much tbh though.

Found the durable washburns pretty sluggish, but fine for winter commuting.

£60 for Rapha Trail lightweight pant, grey - all sizes. Use these for long distance winter commuting, warm enough for me, fitted and with a decent phone pocket (unlike some of their other pants).

How are they for sweaty bum patches, always a worry on lifter legwear...
-
• #8199
Reminds me, did also lift in these a few times, did a good job.
Never had an issue with sweat on the navy/orange but I'm only riding these when cold out. Id be inclined to spend a few extra ££ to go dark navy, the grey could be a risk for some.

Anyone seen any flat bar disc brakeset deals?
Loads on Merlin, but anywhere else?
Yours sure did, ta. My Bluelights card 20% off didn’t. It came in under £300 so another bargain found via these pages.
