What was your use case for it Scott?
-
• #3803
Well it was going to be for my DJ setup rather than my production, but like a fucking idiot I didn't realise I'd bought a v2 🙄
So now I've had to get a v3 and need to sell this one.
I need the stereo connection from the v3.
If it doesn't sell I'll keep it for the studio side for the mono synths but I could really do with recouping some money. 😁 -

Ah it's mono in and out?
-
• #3805
Yeah. I knew that too, but in my haste I didn't notice I was buying a v2 😂

I'll mention it to my production partner Paul, he deals mostly in mono signals!
-
• #3807
No worries. I could knock a bit off if he's interested.

He's not in the market for standalone gear, just Eurorack at present. He's got an Analog Heat on similar duties (albeit the Acid Box is quite different)

Nae bother!

Anybody in need of a few pads to tap? I have an unused Akai LPD8 I'm looking to move on, like the below - can post photos later but it's literally as new as I tested it but never used as I got a MIDI keyboard with integrated pads. Goes for £40 new, so £20?

I hate myself because it's Behringer but I kinda want!

On a related note, I picked up the VPROM plugin over the holidays. Can also load original EPROMs from the DX/DMX/DrumTraks/Drumulator etc.
Obviously not a replacement for a live drum machine, but definitely a great plugi. To have if you're after those sorts of sounds.
I'm also generally more against Behringer than for, but it's nice to have these sorts of things at an accessible price. Especially when they're not being complete assholes about it. I see they've got a PPG Wave clone on the horizon, will be interesting to see how much of a fraction of the cost of the Groove Synthesis Third Wave it is at release!

I still can't forgive myself for being unable to buy Bronski Beat's Linn Drum for a grand years ago and watching it slip away, only to see Linn Drums quadruple in price since then. 😭

The Behringer Wave is already up for pre-order at £569

£489 at Thomann pre-order, stock in 8-10 weeks
And the LMdrum £325 available in 'several months' -

I'm going to post a proper classified ad for this, but if anyone is interested I'm selling a Moffenzeef Modular Stargazer drone synth. Limited edition black and red version. £400 plus a bit for postage if needed.
I don't think they're making them anymore so not very easy to get. -

So, who do I know and trust on the forum to pick up a desktop synth from a guy in Glasgow and then ship it to me in london? 😁

Scrap that. It sold. 🙁
Just checking on here if anyone would be interested in an Erica Synths Acidbox 2 for £160? 🤔
