I went all in and got the classic, premium set, the coarse disc (it’s great for rapidly resetting and old knackered blade) and the kagami for my super nice knives.
The classic will take most knives to shaving sharpness.
Once knives have been done once the resharpening becomes much easier. Before going to the next finer stone it can be really good to do a single pass on each side of the blade with the single diamant just to remove the wire.
