It's never too late to call it, but I think if you want to make it a bit more social and fun (rather than just counting riders on one hand) you need to call it at least a month in advance.

Me and my partner were out between 9 and 11, just got back. Busy out there, a lot of ubers, full open top buses and walking tours.

oh i had gloriously quiet roads. a smattering of cyclists, not much other traffic. the parks are busy with people on foot

E and SE postcodes

We started SE and went across to Buckingham Palace via Westminster then through Soho/Covent Garden to St Paul’s and back so expect to see tourists and stuff. But definitely busier than when I did it in 2018.

And my eldest daughter dashed the main dish of pork ribs at home and we only had sprouts, roasties, pigs in blankets, crisps, beer, wine to offer
