Someone decided to prove there is such a thing as too much seatpost showing. Good for him!
And gee, the Yeti is a bit flash for that business

Holy fuck, this thing is next level. Steel! Doing that! PMSL.
Is that horrific gusset thing missing some weld along the bottom? And it looks like there's a hole in the weld on the BB so big, you can see it in the first photo.
That thing has no business being in a bike shop

the Yeti
Look at the front, you will understand

NewSpeed is a knockoff of a Look carbon mountain bike.
Yeti has quicker handling thanks to the user shortening the front center. -

All american try hard. Not a single scoble brick to the hoods, but probably aero due to the reach..? Superman style!

Ride or die sticker on an unremarkable bicycle is a disqualification.

Most of it sucks aesthetically but the hoods and poor fit are my main icks

There was no lack of understanding; just mild surprise that the old backwards fork affliction struck that far above the BSO ranks.

I quite like it too. It's of its time and has a history

The Gemini in particular is absolutely lovely.

Literally the worst saddle position/stem length combo I have ever seen.

Cross-training for TT, maybe...?

Looks like it was researched as well as one might bother, and did well at 2024 Unbound, 30 min video here.
I cba watching the whole thing but it all makes utilitarian sense, except maybe the big tyre - deep rim combo, but then again it looks like he spent time in a wind tunnel.
Remains aesthetically peculiar, tho.
Edit: looks like the wind tunnel data works out in favour of it

I think the the classics are nice, but best of the year? The utilitarian rebuilds and bag bikes are bland at best.
Anyway doesn't matter much. Carry on.
Yeah it goes well with the wheelset :))
