And here it is, the Carrier*!
Collected early this morning after an eternity on the M5. No traffic, just mind-numbing. Arrived typically early so had a nice flat white from a coffee shop with strangely soft flooring on the high street. Next stop was the bakery, picked up two “unicorn slices” for the kids and a caramel shortbread for my wife. Feeling slightly less zombified, I made my way over to Pi’s workshop for 9am. Tried and failed miserably to play it cool when I caught sight of the Carrier leaning against the workshop bench in the morning sunlight. Silver hope hydros twinkling like a signet ring on the fist of a GB News enjoyer. Found myself describing it as “sick” and “lush”? Clearly a visceral response. The reach felt dialled from a brief spin around the forecourt, more thoughts to follow after I get acquainted with it.
*or the lengths some people will go to avoid panniers according to one convivial forum goer…
