Consulting in financial services.
Quite a lot of young people work there. Which is why I assumed that a/the theme had been chosen.

Shamone!
This reminds me of a mate's birthday where in a very out of character move he enforced fancy dress. It was in Cardiff TGIs and one guy went as the Bo Selecta Michael Jackson and took a doll which he kept dangling over the mini balcony at other dinners who were all in stitches.
It was actually one of the best birthday's I've ever been to.
I miss Wales.

Bo Selecta when blackface was funny.
It wasn’t.

The first time I saw Bo Selecta was on S4C with a mate. We were stoned and thought it was a Welsh Alastair McGowan.
Fwiw I never thought the show was funny.
But the doll in TGIs definitely was.

My never-ending quest for trousers I actually like continues… picked up these marl recycled denim Universal Works in the sales. I really don’t find jeans comfortable so these are a nice compromise to get me out of trackie bottoms on the dog walk.

They look like they’re hanging really fucking weird in that photo (goes off to look in the mirror)
Edit. Yeah, the fabric just needs my sweat to break in a bit.
Also… I saw three blokes wearing leggings today, I guess this is a thing now. -
• #6186
Leggings whilst exercising or just leggings?
-

I’ll wear tights in winter if I’m running or cycling but specifically blokes in ‘athleisure’ clothing going about their lives outside the gym.
-
• #6188
And?
-
• #6189
It sounds a bit Blackadder 1... The athleisure men up here wear shorts all year round.

Fabric shavers - de-pilling devices. What do people suggest?

And?
And that’s what appears to be in fashion. You have read the thread title right? They look shite on anybody.

Are shorts over tights for joggers more acceptable than people wearing shorts over lycra on cheap aluminium road bikes on 23c tyres? First jog in about 3 years this morning and this question crossed my mind.

I don't bother bc it's just more washing but plenty of folk do, though really thats running thread chat >>>

I've got the Phillips one, works fine probably wouldn't advise on very fine wool but have done merino blanket and worked ok

Depends what you wear em with!
Work great with a flowing, blouson sleeve shirt, and sandals of your choice. -

Sounds a bit piratey. Only observed it in men aged 25-35 who are quite hench, teenage boys wouldn't be caught dead in anything tight these days.
If fact, talking of Gym fashion trends... the latest thing in ours is for yoofs (who never do cardio anyway) to avoid sportswear all together and just workout in their jeans and clog Berkenstocks.I'm getting old.

My comment was made with tongue firmly in cheek!

If you're out there actually running, anything goes. Short shorts and vest FTW!
If it's below 5ºC I tend to wear shorts over tights just to keep my knackers from totally disappearing into my body.

I just thought you were a Morrissey fan.

Fuck no!
That should be a simple fix. Your local dry cleaner will either do it or point you towards someone who can.
