  • I don't really know how it's scored, I'm not super into boxing but Fury looks like he could be winning. Usyk getting a lot more shots to the head though, right?

  • I know that in mma, when it's close, things like ring control and activity count, which Tyson looks much better at this time compared to the last fight.

Anyway, I want Usyk to win so I think he's winning 😅

  • I want Tyson to win and I think he has edged it, unless Usyk scores a knockout or knockdown

  • usyk’s

  • I thought so. But not sure on the scoring criteria. Tyson took a lot of shots to the head.

Also, Tyson would make a great Dr Robotnik with a bit more moustache.

  • Odd decision.

It was never that wide either way.

  • Yeah, quite a difference but the judges were unanimous on points?

    Does sound too wide

  • Both fighters have improved since last time, but the interviewer hasn't.

  • It’s the right call. Usyk never looked hurt or troubled. Tyson didn’t control the ring or give any impression of ‘winning’ ..

  • I thought Usyk by two. He did more and landed better, particularly towards the end.

Usyk finished most rounds stronger which tends to swing it when it's close. Margin seemed big though.

  • Tyson has gone off in a huff. Filler is now being provided by Warren and Dubois. Awkward.

  • Last fight was a split decision, with Usyk winning by 1 point on the two cards he won.

This time Fury loses by 4 clear points on each card.

    I don't see it.

  • The last fight isn't relevant. The judging was so consistent this time that you can't find fault with it. The judges have the experience and a better view than us.

  • I can see an Usyk win, but not by that margin.

Before you trumpet the judges consistency, it will be interesting to see which rounds each have to Fury, as Warren said there was little consistency there.

Both great fighters for me. Credit to Usyk for remaining undefeated.

  • You weren't sitting there with your pencil scoring all the punches. Neither was I.

Despite the result it didn't seem decisive to me. A third bout decided by a KO would be amazing.

But maybe Usyk should get extra points because he has such a huge disadvantage in height and reach and weight? These guys shouldn't really be in the same division.

  • Boxing scoring is pretty flawed. I’m sure I’ve stated this multiple times in the past.

  • Was there something amiss with Fury's state of mind? Apparently it was vital for his prep that he didn't speak to his wife for 3 months. (She wasn't pleased about it.) And he put on a ton of weight. And didn't do any of his clowning in the ring. Maybe he was depressed.

  • It’s generally easier to punch up than it is down…

  • I agreed with the result and probably thought Usyk by 2, so no real complaints there. Fury never established clear winning rounds, he'd have good spells but just when he looked to be settling into some decisive work usyk got back at him with good flurries, taking centre ring and walking him down. Beyond impressive, I hope he retires now unbeaten and unified in two divisions. What's left for him? Maybe go and flatten Jake Paul for £100m on his way out. Fury and AJ can now get it on for money/vacant belts and everyone's just keeping the top spots warm for Ituama anyway who looks ridiculously sharp and strong. And 19. Would like to see Bakole get a shot at Dubois.

Dave Allen was robbed against fisher which really ruined the night for me.

  • Agree massively with all that. Itauma looks like a talent. Be keen to see where he goes.

Really can’t believe the scoring for the Fisher win. WTF.

  • Something odd there…..I had it fury by one round, the last imho……no way was that four rounds up to Usyk.
It was close, but never four rounds!

  • I've got a real soft spot for Dave Allen, that would/should have been the absolute career highlight for him. Gutted it was not.

  • What's left for him? Maybe go and flatten Jake Paul for £100m on his way out.

Jake Paul isn't that much of a mug. He'll keep fighting old fighters as long as it pays. If he fought someone closer to their prime like Fury he'd get battered, and would lose his lustre.

  • He fought, and lost to, Tommy Fury 🤣

He would 100% fight either of these, the numbers and credibility they'd bring would be incredible. He's about putting on spectacles.
