Pohjala
Good shout. Not seen much from them in a while though.
Can we have Holy Mountain instead of Holy Goat? ;)

Think Northern Monk have a Pohjala impy stout collab out. Edit: found it, they also have New Barns Plain Dark Beer which is pretty good and loads of other delicious sounding impys

Marble usually have some good BA offerings. I think they're still brewing?
Shops got a few options.

Not 330ml and not strictly an IPA but this is a very good and interesting number that comes in around the 3% mark… local to me so I’m lucky enough to find this on draft every now and then.

Seems like this is well covered already but this or variations of it are always my Christmas morning beer of choice

I've ordered this selection box of Belgian beers, not bad value for what you get.

De Dolle Stille Nacht = incredibly good. I had a few when I was in Belgium last month and they never disappoint.

Strong start to a Christmas morning!
De Struise don't miss on the hardcore imperial stouts, but other sources of strong gear are Alesmith Speedway Stout (more difficult to find in the UK lately) and Old Chimneys Good King Henry. Get it while you can as well: The Kernel's Imperial Brown Stout.

Agree, I've had that one before. I'm excited to try some new ones too!

I foolishly signed up for a Beer52 subscription, was £10 for 10 beers, delivered.
Cancelling is a pain in the arse! I need to ring them.
Who rings anyone anymore? -
• #12039
Oh godspeed, they are such a scam to cancel.
-

When I cancelled a few years back I told them it was because they did too many comedy beers, the guy on the phone didn't have an answer for that and the call lasted about a minute.

Both Alesmith Speedway & Old Chimneys GKH were on at the Kings Arms, e2 recently. May even still be

Yeah I had a free trial month that I used at the start of the first covid closedowns then tried to unsubscribe. From memory they actually just paused it for three months and I got an email at some point saying my requested freeze period was over and they’d be billing me for the next month again soon. Wasn’t too happy.

My father in law buys all those flavoured tins of punk piss. Fit for nowhere but the drain. There’s a peach one that I would bet my house on that it’s just carlsberg with peach squash thrown in

Astonishingly foul. And that was after having drunk loads of other stuff. Unfinishable.
I have a mate in Belgium at the moment getting us some van der keizer but I don't want to take the piss with requests from him.

Ooh you just reminded me of the joint in Acton. I haven't been there for a while. They'll probably have some goodun's
