Well I’d suspect the rest of the frame isn’t too healthy inside either, it’s 10 years old and I now realise it has no rust proofing at all.

Also, who doesn’t like an excuse for a new bike. The Wolverine has identical geometry just with bigger clearances and sliding dropouts, almost ordered, but I’ve just decided to get a Fairlight Faran due to bigger clearances, a cheaper price (Wolverine frame only is now almost £800) and what seems like extensive levels of rust proofing.

But anyway the fair light is a great frame from what it seems and less cash

They are as of v3 or v4 as I understand. Lovely build there.

Thanks. It really is a wonderful build. Came together really well. Wish I had some hipster frame bag or something for it, but my normal ortlieb panniers and that bar bag do the trick.

Positive rise stems a few years back were awful, but recently they are not bad and it really suits the build!!

A bit of topic - but I stumbled across this conversation again, and figured you might a appreciate positive rise painted stem.

How's the handling with a 90mm stem?
I've ridden Kyotes with 45mm and 70mm and I would be worried it would slow steering down
