It’s still a beanie but in mustard yellow and 2 sizes too small, the also commit the heinous crime of wearing it indoors.

Clothes for living (though secretly pissed off that city lads can do MHL at work now and they can't afford it)

Also what's with the current millennial male thing for baseball caps? When they let me out at weekends, I see all the nouveau baldheads in the wrong sort of cafe are wearing them inside and out.

The Walker Slater lines look fine but fairly traditional for my tastes, smanks of Peaky Blinders

Harris tweed for me is bonus, it's certainly not a cheap fabric and has a fascinating manufacturing history, I'd choose it all day long over an unknown source
Aye, what I was saying is Harris tweed is everywhere up here, and you can bet they're buying just as cheaply as other people are, just with a premium hipster uptick

The only legitimate scenarios for indoor hat wearing are:
Broken boiler situation
A large covered space such as a train station
Visiting a public toilet outside of the home.As for baseball? What’s that? Some American apology for sport?
It’s certainly not cricket. -

I was up there once and, except for the cunty attitude of the proprietor, I liked some of the stuff I tried on. One or two items worn in a more normal fashion would be fine imo and would be difficult to spot in the wild.

I wear some kind of hat all year ‘round, in the winter for warmth and summer to keep the sun off. Indoors? Depends where I am and how long I’m staying.

Public bar, railway carriage, car, bookmakers - YES
Saloon bar, office, home - NO
Grey areas would be lobbies or other liminal spaces. The absolute worst is the wearing of one of those small touries whilst consuming small plates.

What’s a tourie?

Doric for hat but I find it quite descriptive for this kind of thing (with the weird strap at the back)..![]

That does look strange, materially and construction-wise.

I think that’s because the plans for the nighttime raid have been changed to daylight with no backup close fire support.
Dating myself. But this is always the first image of an architect at work that comes to my mind.
