Also what's with the current millennial male thing for baseball caps? When they let me out at weekends, I see all the nouveau baldheads in the wrong sort of cafe are wearing them inside and out.

I was up there once and, except for the cunty attitude of the proprietor, I liked some of the stuff I tried on. One or two items worn in a more normal fashion would be fine imo and would be difficult to spot in the wild.

I wear some kind of hat all year ‘round, in the winter for warmth and summer to keep the sun off. Indoors? Depends where I am and how long I’m staying.

Public bar, railway carriage, car, bookmakers - YES
Saloon bar, office, home - NO
Grey areas would be lobbies or other liminal spaces.

The absolute worst is the wearing of one of those small touries whilst consuming small plates.
