Anyone interested in a few Brompton bits? Taken off my T-Line before I’d actually ridden it:
Schwalbe One tyres £20 (pair)
T-Line mudguards. £20
Flexi - mudguards (still in box) - £15Collection from Camden Town during work hours. I can post but you’ll it will be an extra £4 to cover PP fees and postage.

I ended up getting a G line. Despite being 6ft, I went for a small which felt the best when I test rode them. To date, the things I like:
Added a dynamo, had to make a light bracket but now its on there I got a Son Edelux to fit, so chuffed with that.
Rides super nice, like you can stand out of the saddle with confidence, its cool
Things I dont like:
The 8 speed alfine. For the first time ever, Im not hunting for the right gear, but it feels DRAGGY as heck, so Im looking at making my own dropouts so I can run a regular derailleur Errdeer style (but likely an 11-34, because a 11-42 on a 20" wheel is pointless).I have a spare 20" front wheel (100 OLD, 12TA) if anyone is interested?

From a brand that never innovates. Shocker.

Turns out I bought the wrong hook! Nobody has them, Brompton’s own website doesn’t have them, even with the Q code, but Brilliantbikes has a handful. https://brilliantbikes.co.uk/brompton-electric-spares/6261-advance-brompton-electric-front-fork-hook-assembly-version-2.html

Alfines do get less draggy with use

Swapped the ol' brommo to 2 speed successfully.
The first gear remains the same as my previous 3rd so is fine for the hills but shock the 2nd gear is too spinny for the flat.
The bikes lighter and rolls better which makes the problem worse.
Think I'll go up on the chainring and then try to go up on the 1st gear at the back if it clears. I know in standard form it won't as it would hit the stay but on this hub with the hub guard removed and 11s cogs, I think it will go -

I'm thinking of buying a 2nd Brompton electric and turning it into a non-electric Brompton, selling electric parts and instead adding a front dynamo wheel.
How easy/realistic is this?

I’ve looked into it. Depending on the purchase price it could be worthwhile.
Some of the results:
The fork would be a bit heavier than the non electric version, although I guess you could sell those as well;
A couple of unused ports left in the frame/triangle;
Carrier block would need replacing;
BB would need replacing;
If you use reflectors, they’d need purchasing and installing.Labour intensive work to remove it all, somewhat intensive to put non electrics on.

What happens when you brake via the pedals though, does the chain not drop onto the chainstay?

Thanks, looks like a bit more hassle and downside than I expected. I'll take it in consideration when submitting my offer.

Get a 60T 😉

Slack chain? Nah... ;)
There's more questionable matters on that bike, chain slap is the least concern.

Wish I'd seen this for the tyres!
