Apparently the performance enhancing drug of choice in Eastern Europe. Was reading some comments someone seriously suggested that he could have been targeted by Russians. That’s some next level paranoid conspiracy theory.

Sarri got sacked after winning the league with Juventus, van Gaal and Conte both won the FA cup final in their final games and most famously Vincente del Bosque got sacked after winning the league with Real Madrid.

With those guys anything is possible, great negative PR for one of Ukraine's top sportsmen.

Maria Sharapova’s drug of choice.

Yeah, I was watching a Chelsea podcast earlier today where that all came out. Clearly spy business going on, Roman still has people on the inside at Cobham. 👉👃

He's clearly on the wrong side of the counter. I have suspicions that this picture is not genuine.

Right, all of those were planned well in advance of the season's end.

Another great Copa90 documentary, with lots of Jonathan Wilson.

There’s plenty of others. Capello, Lampard, Farke. When removing the manager you’d hope it’s planned of course.

I enjoyed this, thanks.
Is Angels with Dirty Faces a good read?
Any other recommendations for timeless football books?

Inverting the pyramid is good. I'm going to guess the Daniel Taylor "Clough book" is very good.

I loved Wilson's Behind the curtain.
Recently read 250 Days: Cantona’s Kung Fu and the Making of Man U by Daniel Storey. Short and insightful.
The Mixer- Michael Cox (brilliantly written account of the rise of the PL)
Tor by Uli Hesse, comprehensive history of German football. -

I've not finished it yet, but the truly awfully titled "How to win the premier league" could worth a go if you've got any interest in the data side of things (@Chalfie may be the only one).

Two football books I enjoyed a lot:
A Brilliant Orange by David Winner.
Football Against the Enemy by Simon Kuper. -

Mick Channon’s autobiography was hysterical, but not intentionally. It’s a pamphlet more than a book though. You’d finish it in an hour.

This game is bonkers.

His son, Michael, wrote “how’s your dad” which is probably fun.

watch out for their no. 32 paul onuachu he was great in our league visit to the dell until he had to come off injured, and then again on weds night when he came on he looked unstoppable. like peter crouch but with a bit more presence and strength. skillful on the ball and on numerous occasions got himself our of the liverpool press to then drive on and find a great pass.
good player him.
He even won his last game! Can't be many managers getting the boot after a win.?
