Right. Well, I've got a couple of Shimano cranks coming from ebay so they're going to get tried first and if I can't make those work I'll look at one of those SRAM options.

Ah shit, I still need a chainring for the Deore XT FC-M8100-1 cranks.

TL;DR, you can try SRAM wide cranks if you need gravel sized chainrings. Funny BB systems but readily available everywhere. Can be used with normal chains.
Some BB386 cranks may work too

Yeah, cheers. Tester mentioned those. They look interesting and might be a solution if I can't get the Shimano cranks working like I want.
