What kind of road bike? Big tube carbon or slender tube steel - or something inbetween..?
For classic-ish steel something like the MKS Sylvan Gordito or Lambda could work

Was thinking about Gordito for my latest project (1950s 3speed Flying scot) but the amount of grip they’d offer concerned me. They don’t look great.
Edit: I mean aesthetically they do look great, right on the money but grip wise they don’t look great.

This is for a Dolan Preffisio so somewhere in between. It's a pretty agricultural bike so I'm not going to be spoiling any aesthetics. Just looking for something in proportion, and that I might end up using on other nicer bikes in the future.
Something from MKS looks to do the trick. Leaning towards the Allways

What flat pedals would look ok on a road bike? I've only ever used fairly chunky MTB ones on flat bar bikes but reckon they'd look out of proportion on a road bike
