You could take the wheels off, hold it on one hand and frame on the other and you'll be allowed in.
It is actually legit per TFL, just did it on Sunday, wheels on my bag, frame on the left, Brompton on the right, made it from Turnpike Lane to London Bridge!

Awesome thanks, I want to get in and out of town, but fuck paying £69 each way on the train when I can be driven to Epping and take the tube. Last time I took the folder so it didn’t matter.
