East to West bridges was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made in my life. Everyone who was doing it that way dropped out around Wandsworth or something when we met the group going the other direction where they all turned around and went back east so I was the only one to continue on. Kew sucks when you're on your own their in the middle of the night.

Where's the afterparty...
-

Yeah, bridges should be West to East to arrive at Tower Bridge as the party is in full swing.

GSIAD would usually kick off at about 11am to finish early evening.
From memory it would be Stonemasons in Hammersmith, Coach and Horses in Brixton, Flask in Hampstead, that pub in Victoria Park whose name I can't remmwber for the death TT and then central would be either The Lamb in Bloomsbury or there is definitely an argument for The John Snow.
It might want to include South Easts as well, which would be The Roebuck in Borough.

If that's one of the biggest mistakes you've made in your life, then your life sounds pretty good to me!

The Flask in Highgate. Numerous noobs went to Hampstead over the years. :)
It's the Royal Inn in Victoria Park Village, but those days are long behind us. We could do a Grand Slam in a Day of Easts venues and go to about 17 pubs easily.
The Death TT (down Highgate West Hill, up Swains Lane) was Norths, not Easts. I don't think the Easts TT had a name other than Easts TT. Since they built that crap surface outside the Royal Inn and on the ramps of the two raised pedestrian crossings in Grove Road it's a lot less fun, though. (@hillbilly would love it just for the downhills.)
Your list is a bit of a mix; for Wests it would obviously have to be the Brewtreepearcrabredheymasongroundlionstoneswandogship, just to keep things unmixed.
It might want to include South Easts as well, which would be The Roebuck in Borough.
We did go there on the last one.

Think I was on that ride, but memories of bridges ride are hazy. Partly alcohol and anti anxiety meds.

Wherever the party ends up I think an LFGSS ghost bike should be left behind to mark the end of a good thing and commemorate all those who are no longer with us, (i.e. the black logos). Can donate a D-lock.

Not sure I will be here, but please put me on the list. I will be on my Roberts road fixed, which I had made for me years ago all because of this forum. I had not ridden fixed since I was 3, specced it right up from original hubjub, had no idea, and rode it back from their tiny shop to Pimlico. I did fall off on Clapham Common avoiding a mum and pram but threw myself under the bike so it was OK. The ride remains one of my finest achievements.

Your a cunt
There's zero chance of anyone surviving the GSIAD, let alone a party and THEN Bridges. I mean, maybe all you sober cunts but I'll be fucked at pub #2 and dead before the party ends.

Does Hammershit even have a W postcode? It's basically EC1.

Did we cross any bridges or just sit under an archway wondering why we'd -chosen- to do this?
Typical 'oh it's wet, I can't come out' forum attendance :)
FWIW Hop Kingdom is near Tower Bridge and that is where most "new new wave" (i.e. they aren't on this forum) fixed gear riders tend to hang out these days. The bar is a good spot with decent people running it and the workshop in the back, and they generally turn a blind eye to dumb shit like sprints down Druid Street right in front of the place.
