You need a switch. Plug your cable into it and then other cables to wherever you need them.

In hindsight I would buy something a bit bigger and better. It noticeably slows down when it gets hot.

I've found the metal ones are ok as the case acts as a heat sink but that's probably only any good if there's clear air around it.

Saying that, most of mine are actually ex small office ones which are probably a bit more robust.
