• B pads are slightly smaller than Gs so they rattle and you can feel them move slightly when braking (at least the fronts, because gravity is against them. But if it’s meant take G buy G.

    You can also buy Js if you care about fins.

  • I've got Gs now. The whole bike needs a service - the cassette seems to have rattled loose during yesterday's ride and I'm changing the cranks so I reckon the whole drivetrain is going in the bin (or to someone who wants used 11-42 stuff). I'll probably clean rotors and swap pads too. Or I'll just run the whole lot further into the ground while ignoring all the noises :)
