  • The beer was always there. I think most years I drink more of it during winter.

Just had a look at Nov stats. I'm not completely sedentary... yet.

  • Nice one. I rode my bike four times in November. 2x each way commutes. FFS.

  • I think I walked more in November than you cycled :D

It also helped that ~1000k of my Nov riding wasn't in the UK :)

  • All @rpm has to do is start hunting tiles.

  • Oliver, I thought we had established that Hippy is yet to visit.

Well, it doesn't stop the cows producing wind, does it?

  • I know exactly where the tiles are. In my garage where they’ve been for two years as I still haven’t got round to doing my bathroom. DIY thread>>>>>

  • Well, you shouldn't have said that so openly, as now hippy will want to get into your garage.

  • Not for the first time.

Blowing a gale here and soggy. Glad I got on the piss last night and slept in.

  • I'm taking a day off on Thu and I'm going to ride by your joint whether you're open or not :)

  • Oh that’s today isn’t it. Shit, better chuck the customers out and get the doors shut right quick

  • “Le Poisson” did indeed visit, swallowing up the kilometres (and the cakes) that lesser riders would never accomplish.
    Good on you mate!

  • I've turned into Sean Bannister with his MTB for club runs. He probably had less mismatched kit though. Was great to finally get up there see you guys and the 'cowshed'.

I didn't fancy the ride back so £18 super off peak return from Bedford got back to the smoke in ~45mins. Around 200k for the day so the cake selection was totally justified. :)

  • Fucker stole your Christmas tree lights, if it’s not nailed down..

  • Bedford drivers, innit. Safety first!

  • When he rode off, slowly into the rain and gloom we did wonder “will he be OK?” But then I reminded us that he’d cycled across continents and on the moon and under the sea. A bit of Bedfordshire traffic isn’t going to be a problem.

  • In London, Electric scooters are now more dangerous than BMW drivers.

You'll be pleased to note that I increased my small square by 1 and my large square by 1 also.

I did plan a new 400k route but these days I'm more motivated to plan and less motivated to "do" so I'll probably end up riding something shorter and having to redo it before I bother with that idea.

  • there is a lot of awesome in this shot

  • :-*

I heard you paid the trouble-maker a visit earlier in the year too. The things we do for a decent cup of coffee ;)

  • Le Poisson!

So nice to see some wonderful forum nostalgia spirit, today in particular.

Cowshed now firmly on my "must visit" list.

  • I'd highly recommend not following the drunk route I took :D
