my son still plays, he's in a band and they are semi good. i get a lot of vicarious happiness from his musicianship, so i thought maybe when he comes home i'd see if he wants to go into town and buy another guitar.
he has a basic electric guitar (Squier Jazzmaster) and a not bad acoustic guitar, so i was thinking maybe a hollow body electric or an electro-acoustic.
what would be a good shop in london to go to where he could try a few out, and ideally not be a high pressure sales type situation?
I'd second this. Went there for a browse, ended up buying something but not before I'd tried stacks of guitars. When I narrowed it down to two, they let me try them both out in the vintage amps room too. On several different amps.
hello again guitar nerds.
