They’re made in Taiwan by a good Taiwanese company, I rate them highly. I’d wager the threads are ISO metric vs. Brompton’s imperial crap. No idea why it was so cheap, but if it’s as good inside as it looks on the outside, I expect you’ll be pleased with your purchase soon enough.
I’ve found sending them a message via their website is effective; you can ask them, if you don’t have a thread pitch gauge and/or can’t confirm the sizing online.
Was fitting the suspected hubsmith wheel but the stock Brompton wheel nuts don't fit the axle. Thread pitch appears to be the same but the axle is a slightly smaller diameter than the nuts.
Guess this is why it was cheap, are the nuts going to be impossible to find?
Ah think the 3 speed hub has funny threads. I'll try stock 2s nuts
