Have you seen this new Aqua Terra though?
If they'd done it as a grey dial I think it may have worked.

I can vouch for this, I queued with a colleague inside a roped off line outside a KFC on Christmas Day in Tokyo, alongside a life-size statue of the colonel in santa garb. Surreal.

As with all Omega gonna wait until I see in the flesh to commit fully.
It looks……. Ok
But some Omega don’t seem to photograph well. -

That looks uncomfortable to wear. Is it?

Not remotely - it’s one of those which you forget you’re wearing.

I’m looking for a tool watch to provide data during outdoor activities. Mostly mountaineering and diving. It should ideally include depth meter for diving and altimeter for climbing. I always thought G-shock solar watches are the best watches in the world but can’t find one with both these functions. Is there a model I’m missing or am I doomed to buy Fenix or, god forbid, an iWatch ES?
PS. This watch is not a substitute for a diving computer.

Really lovely.

The only current G-Shock with both an altimeter and a depth meter is the GWN-Q1000. But even then I'm not 100% sure it's still in production.

The only other G-Shock with both depth and alti I think is the Skyforce DW-6500, which probably qualifies as vintage at this point. Cool looking watch though.

@DanM I will have a look into that as well, thanks! This looks similar to Fenix, however the brand is less popular so might be harder to service it in case something breaks.
@Regal thanks! Exactly what I was looking for! The Skyforce is exactly what I’m looking for! As both these are unavailable to me as brand new might as well look for it 2nd hand!

Japan has quite an ... interesting relationship with KFC in general.
There's an amazing urban legend in Japan that suggests the ghost of Colonel Sanders placed a curse on the Hanshin Tigers baseball team after fans threw a Colonel Sanders statue into a river in the 80s.

Someone eventually found it at the bottom of the river, prompting another strange moment
