because everyone knows there isnt much enforcement. if more phone drivers realised theyre surrounded by potential mobile cctv picking up their behaviour and resulting in enforcement, maybe itll help

I'd have thought it does have some effect. If you've just got 6 points for being caught using your phone you might think twice before reaching for it again

We have costly fines and demerit points on licenses for using phones while driving.
It seems to have no effect. I see people looking at their phones all the time. Talking is bad but texting is incredibly worse.
Anything that reduces it is fine with me.
