I bought my first electric bike last week. A Buzzbike EZ, bought for peanuts as they're going out of business. I used to work for them so know how flawed these are but it's been ideal so far. I quite often have to lug bits around town for work and also play drums in a couple of bands. It's been great for getting my heavy cymbals and bass drum pedal to work, then practice then home which is about 25 miles. Too much for me to do on a regular bike and public transport is just miserable. It's definitely a useful tool but not particularly interesting.
