I think I'd suffer the weight penalty of regular butyl tubes if latex is off the cards. I've yet to hear anyone give positive impressions of tpu tubes and have seen a lot of bad ones including blowouts

All the front runners in the series use them, but I’ve suggested that they take some real tubes to swap out it case.

I've been running them for ~2k km with no issues, admittedly i don't ride in London anymore. The streets round here aren't so mean
