what's the tyre clearance like ? Could they take 28's or more ?

I don't have a vernier, but tape measure shows 38mm at the narrowest.
This is from c. 2010 when 23-25mm was king, and I guess the tyre profile will be influenced by the rim width it's mounted on. I would say highly unlikely.

Yeah I knew that would be the case, but some Italian frames can surprise you. You don't have a front with a 28mm you could try in there ? They would be ideal for me if could take a 28mm ..

So, this friend has converted his stable to 32mm... If I can get around to it tomorrow, I'll go check at my LBS. Otherwise early Jan. Sorry my guy.

👍
Mint condition - £90. Bought way back when for a FP3 to increase stack height to solve backpain but saw another bike in a shop and lost interest. Decals still 2000's shouty with beautiful carbon weave exposed, but heard it could become en vogue again on a nice Frankenstein build :p Some specs:
-250mm straight steerer
-540g
-with Pinarello topcap
Ideally for collection in SW14 7NY, but we could make a plan otherwise.
