hairdryer, some rubber gloves and a sponge. Keeps it hot and viscous while you move it around. Should make it more waterproof too as it get into the seams
I was fairly over the top when applying to the seams.
I gave it a little hairdryer treatment and will see what happens when it next rains.
Going to have a go on my green one next.
