Where do you want the brake, on the drop or on the top.
Drop look at Hugo suggestion. Pair are between 10 and 16 at temple cycles which maybe able to collect from their brick lane store.
Brake wise a dual pivot is supposed to better than single side. As for which, I can't tell the difference between brands.
Firstly tho I'd look at cleaning the rim and decent pads really do help.

Is there a forum-approved drop-bar brake lever and compatible rim-brake caliber that'll look good on an 80s Orbea frame with downtube shifting? Silver, preferably?
