I remember seeing an interview not long after he signed and they asked him if he thought he'd score a lot of goals and he said that wasn't really his game.

It did seem quite hard to dislike him to be fair.

Loved him from day one. He did get a lot of bookings in the first half of the season though. Oozes main character energy.

He probably wasn't wrong though.

They don't just own the club, they were allowed to just buy their way into the pyramid, circumventing the rules that are supposed to stop German football from being hollowed out, and they operate like the City Group in a way that cares nothing for loser "legacy fans" or clubs' histories.
