If you're planning to use the bike often or lower your seatpost when folding then we wouldn't recommend this (speaking from experience) it does save amazing weight but titanium would be the route to go,
Does the steel-skinned carbon seat post from the T-Line fit a normal Brompton?
Ignore me, I have just seen on Brilliant bikes that it does fit. Only 90g saving though!
It's not really a true carbon, only the outer skin which I guess they wanted to make sure it was robust for the long term use.
