  • This is lovely!

  • I was really just looking for a owl but also saw a cuckoo and a pair of whitethroats and then noticed how there seemed to be three sorts of clouds and various rainbow/halo effects.

  • I know an aurora isn't a cloud, but these seem a good fit for this thread. Chez Bald a week or so back...

  • Those are great shots, particularly the ones with the house in them.

  • Considering that they were taken at Midnight on a Saturday during an interesting state of sobriety, they're positively miraculous. Living at the top of a hill in the middle of not much has its compensations.

  • My photos of the Great Solar Storm of 2024 were taken after an evening reunion with all three Luddlets which may have been a factor in my falling into a ditch when I first saw the colours in the sky.

  • Quality work! I chose sheep shit as a soft landing spot, the falling over backwards perspectives were achieved by falling over backwards.

  • Some nice noctilucent clouds last night, timelapse and one still

I got a good view too, although missed seeing the huge lenticular.

Camera is Galaxy S24 in and I haven't adjusted the colours or owt. It was a very colourful sky.

  • Lenticular-y clouds on way to Wigan this morning, my daughter took the best photo she could. I should've left M'Way and stopped to get a better pic really.
