  • Thanks! That is what I was looking for, but did not see. The changes are numerous, the most significant to the rear triangle, and generally to fit dimensions. It's a very well thought-out frame!

  • Still tempted to swap my desert order to this. But also thinking a future strael in that blue would be sick (if they made one). And a Holt in moss. Maybe getting ahead of myself and my finances there though!

  • Ah nice, thank you! I don't do Insta so didn't see.

I'm feeling miffed that I'm now stuck behind the curve on V2.5. The mods to the rear triangle seem mostly aimed to fit bigger 700c tyres — looks like 650b is over. The tweaks to the geometry generally make fit more consistent through the size range, a shortcoming pointed out by (ahem) The Radavist in their very extended review (of a V2.0, I think).

It is a pity if 650b is obsolescent. The argument made by Gerard Vroomen for the 3T Exploro — must be 10 years ago now — that the diameter of a fat gravel tyre on 650b was the same as that of a road tyre on 700c, still holds good. There's no way a bike is going to perform the same on 32mm and 55mm tyres on the same wheels.
