His face was caught on CCTV at the hostel the night before the shooting, so he could have been wearing something else, carrying a different backpack etc.
The guy had done a fair bit of planning and was pretty competent, but seems to have made a few errors that mean he'll probably get caught in a few days, so probably not a professional.

what I don't get is how he was able to escape at all, how late was the police?! You would have thought the moment he entered that bus leaving the city the cops would have someone waiting at the destination

I’m starting to think this was a paid-for hit. The writing on the shell cases feels like an attempt to pin the killing on a dude with a grudge or idealistic motive. It was more likely a shareholder. I don’t even think the guy seen in the CCTV with his face shown is the shooter. Backpack is the wrong colour, and he has a hoodie under a non-hooded jacket. The shooter had a hooded jacket.
